02 · Graphic design · Text as pattern
Text[ure]
What does a sentence look like when you stop reading it? Text[ure] encrypts a single quote into patterns that feel random but follow strict rules.

Overview
The idea
Built as a parametric system in Grasshopper, the design actually works: swap the text and a new texture appears. One quote, three visual languages, shown here as a social media series.
01
Three principles
Each poster encodes the same quote with its own rule. Hover over an example, or tap it, to reveal the principle behind it.
02
In context
The series was published as an Instagram story.
